Piri Piri burr found near internationally important sand dune in Scotland

Piri piri burr

Originally introduced for horticultural purposes, the piri piri burr plant (Acaena novae-zelandiae) has now been found a few hundred metres from the Forvie Reserve in north-east Scotland. The finding comes just after the publishing of Scotland's Code of Practice on the 2nd of July which provides advice to tackle invasive species.
